What Saaro does, what it doesn't, and how to opt out.

Saaro is a podcast app that generates short AI summaries for each chapter of episodes our users listen to. We do this so listeners can shape their own listen around what matters to them.

What we do

  • Stream episodes from your original CDN (we don't re-host audio).
  • Generate ~30–50 word chapter summaries via Google's Gemini AI.
  • Respect the <podcast:locked> tag in your RSS feed — if set to "yes", Saaro will not process the episode.
  • Honor opt-out requests within 7 business days.

What we don't do

  • Reproduce significant portions of your content.
  • Host or distribute your audio files.
  • Use your content for any commercial purpose beyond providing the listening experience to our subscribers.

How to opt out

If you would like your podcast excluded from Saaro processing, email hello@getsaaro.com with the subject "Opt-out request" and include your podcast's RSS URL. We'll add it to our exclusion list within 7 business days.
